Veteran juju musician Ebenezer Obey has publicly dismissed false rumours about his death and stroke, calling them “lies from the kingdom of darkness.”
In a video posted on Instagram, Obey appeared with his two sons, singing and reassuring fans of his good health.
He captioned the post: “Stop the rumours!!!! Ebenezer Obey is alive and well.”
Obey revealed that he recently traveled to London for personal care and expressed frustration over the spread of fake news, including doctored photos of coffins.
“Everything they have said is nothing but lies that came from the kingdom of darkness. I am alive, I am alive, says the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much. I don’t have a stroke. I came to London to look after myself,” he stated.
This isn’t the first time Obey has had to confront such rumours; similar stories about his health circulated in 2020 and re-emerged earlier this year.
