The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially recognised the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) under former Senate President, David Mark.
The decision, announced on Wednesday, comes after a series of internal reforms within the party, which produced a new team of national officers to reposition the ADC ahead of future elections.
Among those recognised alongside Mark are former Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, as National Secretary; Dr. Ibrahim Mani, National Treasurer; Akibu Dalhatu, National Financial Secretary; and former Edo State Governor, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor, as National Legal Adviser.
With INEC’s endorsement, the Mark-led team is expected to embark on nationwide reconciliation and mobilisation programmes aimed at strengthening the ADC’s structures and boosting its influence ahead of the 2027 general elections.
