The Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Ebenezer Akinyemi, has called on Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to intervene and order the arrest of social media influencer, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi popularly known as Mandy Kiss over her controversial plan to engage in a sex marathon with 100 men in one day.
Mandy Kiss reportedly scheduled the event for September 30 in Ikorodu, Lagos, claiming she aimed to set a Guinness World Record (GWR) with the act.
However, GWR has officially distanced itself from the event, stating that it does not track or endorse sexual activities as record categories. According to the organisation, all record attempts must be measurable, verifiable, safe, and ethical criteria Mandy Kiss’s proposal does not meet.
Despite the disavowal from GWR, the monarch expressed concern that Mandy Kiss intends to proceed with the event. In an open letter to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Oba Akinyemi described her plan as “a public nuisance” and “a dangerous venture that could end her life.”
“From my assessment, I do not think the lady in question knows the implications of what she is venturing into. If she knew, she wouldn’t attempt such an ugly incident,” he wrote.
Oba Akinyemi warned that if the event were to go ahead and end in tragedy, the Nigerian police might begin arresting men involved. He urged preemptive action by the Lagos State Government to avoid such consequences.
“The best approach is to arrest the lady, who is currently constituting a public nuisance,” he said. “She is insisting she will go ahead with her plan despite Guinness World Records rejecting her disgraceful proposal.”
The monarch also expressed concerns about the damage such actions could do to the reputation of Lagos State, the home state of President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
“Mandy Kiss, whose behaviour appears mentally unstable, should not be allowed to tarnish the name Lagos State has built over decades,” he said.
“A state that boasts of a disciplined First Lady and respected individuals with deep cultural and religious values should not allow its image of excellence to be stained.”
Oba Akinyemi recommended that Mandy Kiss be handed over to authorities in Ogun State for rehabilitation.
“After arresting her, she should be returned to her parents in Ogun State. There, Governor Dapo Abiodun should ensure she is sent to a psychiatric hospital for proper rehabilitation,” he stated.
The traditional ruler further called on the Federal Government to regulate social media content, which he says contributes to moral decay among Nigerian youths.
“The conduct of Mandy Kiss and others like her highlights the urgent need for stronger government regulation on social media. The moral decay in our society must be addressed before it spirals out of control,” he said.
He added that without proper checks, children who go online for legitimate purposes may be exposed to harmful and inappropriate content from influencers and content creators.
“Many countries already regulate socially unacceptable content on digital platforms. Nigeria must follow suit to protect its future generations,” Oba Akinyemi concluded.
