Fuji music star, Saheed Osupa, has expressed gratitude after Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy named him among his all-time greatest musicians.
During a recent conversation with tennis legend Roger Federer, Burna Boy disclosed that his “GOAT singers are mostly Fuji artistes like Saheed Osupa.”
Reacting on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, Osupa described the recognition as “a monumental moment that celebrates the soul of Fuji music and its timeless influence.”
He noted that the tribute not only honours his personal journey but also “shines a brilliant light on our rich cultural heritage, bridging generations and genres worldwide.”
Osupa thanked Burna Boy for the acknowledgment and said he looks forward to attending one of the Afro-fusion star’s upcoming concerts.
