The All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked a viral social media post claiming that the party has released a timetable for its upcoming congresses.

Over the weekend, several social media users circulated what appeared to be a detailed schedule of activities for the APC’s ward, local government, state, and national congresses. The post also listed alleged prices for nomination forms and a date for the national convention.

However, in a statement on Sunday, the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, dismissed the post as fake and unauthorized.

“The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a document titled, ‘APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities,’ currently circulating on social media,” Morka said. “Our great party wishes to make it clear that the purported schedule was neither issued nor approved by the party and should therefore be disregarded as fake news.”

He urged party members and the general public to rely only on official communication channels for verified information regarding APC activities.
