The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified one of its leading aspirants, Engr. Kayode Ojo, from participating in the upcoming governorship primary in Ekiti State, scheduled for October 27, 2025.
This announcement was made on Thursday in Abuja by Duro Meseko, APC’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, during a press briefing.
Meseko confirmed that Governor Abiodun Oyebanji and Omolayo Oluremi have been cleared to contest in the party’s primary election.
This development comes ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election, which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed for July 20, 2026.
