The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has suspended its State Secretary, Mr. Sa’idu Adamu, following allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday in Kaduna by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Maria Dogo.
Dogo stated that the action was taken in accordance with the provisions of Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended).
She said: “The decision was reached on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, during a meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC) held at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna.
“The suspension, which takes immediate effect, will last for one month pending the outcome of investigations and subsequent decisions of the party.
“During this period, Hon. Sa’idu Adamu is hereby barred from participating in any party activity at all levels.”
According to Dogo, the move reflects the PDP’s commitment to upholding internal discipline and ensuring fairness under the leadership of the State Chairman, Mr. Edward Percy Masha.
“The ongoing efforts of the State Working Committee are aimed at strengthening the party’s structures and ensuring accountability across all ranks,” she added.
Meanwhile, a similar disciplinary action occurred on August 26, 2025, when the Anambra State House of Assembly suspended Bernard Udemezue, the member representing Ayamelum Constituency, for three months over “damaging content” he posted on social media.
Udemezue, who was elected on the PDP platform, had alleged via his social media handles that Ayamelum Constituency was being marginalised in terms of constituency allowance
