Lagos State’s anti-drug abuse ambassador, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, has sparked controversy after allegedly facilitating the arrest of a fellow influencer, Opeyemi Oyindamola, and her mother, known online as Mummyanddaughter982, over accusations of online trolling.

The duo, who boast over 80,000 Instagram followers, recently gained viral attention for a food challenge involving pupuru, a traditional Ondo State delicacy, paired with vegetables.

They are also known for expressing strong opinions on religious and social matters, often sparking heated debate online.

In a video posted on Saturday, Mandy Kiss documented her arrival in Ondo State, later showing Oyindamola and her mother inside her car, visibly distressed and pleading with her.

“You’ve meddled in what doesn’t concern you, and you’ll suffer for it,” Mandy Kiss said in the clip. “You and your daughter will not find rest.”

She also shared a photo showing both women standing in what appeared to be a police station.

The feud appears to stem from the duo’s criticism of Mandy Kiss following her controversial attempt to break a supposed Guinness World Record by allegedly planning to sleep with 100 men.

Though the Guinness World Records body publicly disassociated itself from the claim, public backlash was swift.

Following the outrage, Mandy Kiss released a video apologizing, stating that her statement was a joke. However, Oyindamola and her mother had already publicly condemned the act, vowing to “report her to God.”

In a widely circulated video, the mother said “Before you corrupt this nation, we will take your matter to the Lord. What you promote is damaging to children.”

They criticized her influence on youth and warned of the dangers of her message spreading via social media.

Mandy Kiss responded angrily in an Instagram video on September 29, insulting their appearances and issuing a stern warning.

“This is your second video about me. If you make a third and mention my name, I’ll come to Ondo or Ekiti and deal with both of you.”

Despite the controversies, Mandy Kiss was appointed on September 30 as an ambassador for Lagos State Kicks Against Drug Abuse (LASKADA) by the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende.

Speaking on her appointment, Ogunlende said “Mandy Kiss has agreed to serve as a LASKADA ambassador. With over 400,000 followers, she has a wide reach. We’re trying to do things differently by working with influencers who can engage the youth.”

When asked about the arrest, Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, clarified that the state’s intention was to support individuals willing to change.

“The government supports anyone trying to turn a new leaf. Mandy Kiss’ appointment doesn’t make her immune to mistakes. If she’s done something wrong, it’s unfortunate, but the goal remains to encourage young people to behave responsibly,” Omotoso
