The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has reported that Nigeria’s headline inflation rate fell to 16.05 per cent in October 2025.
The agency disclosed the figure in its Consumer Price Index and Inflation report, shared on its verified X account on Monday.
According to the report, the inflation rate decreased from 18.02 per cent recorded in September, while month-on-month, headline inflation rose by 0.93 per cent in October.
The report also indicated a slight easing in food prices, with food inflation declining by 0.37 per cent month-on-month.
This marks the seventh consecutive month of decline in Nigeria’s inflation rate in 2025.
