B Red, Nigerian singer and cousin to Afrobeats star David Adeleke (Davido), has surprised comedian Trinity Guy with a ₦10 million gift during a promotional event in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In a video posted on Saturday, Trinity Guy was seen rolling on the floor in excitement as he thanked B Red for the unexpected generosity. Overwhelmed with emotion, he shouted:
“Nigeria! Davido’s brother B Red has given me ₦10m. Nigerians, please help me thank him. 30 BG for life. Thank you so much. My life don change.”
He also urged fans to stream B Red’s new single “Bend Down Select,” noting that it is available on all platforms.
The 23-year-old content creator, an ardent Davido supporter became emotional when the gift was announced onstage, just days after he had a backstage encounter with Davido. Trinity Guy said meeting the star had already “opened new doors of blessing” in his life.
The viral video has since drawn mixed reactions on X (formerly Twitter). While many praised the act of generosity, others questioned the authenticity of the gesture.
B Red is a member of Davido’s DMW collective and is known for his hit songs and long-standing presence in the Afrobeats scene.
