Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of ordering the arrest of her siblings amid what appears to be a deepening marital crisis.
In a series of emotional posts shared via her Instagram Stories, the actress claimed that her elder brother and sister were arrested on the senator’s orders, while her younger sister was also being targeted for possible detention.
Regina alleged that her husband, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, was using his political influence to intimidate and harass her family members. She, however, did not specify where the alleged arrests took place or the reasons behind them.
According to her, the move was an attempt to pressure her into returning to what she described as a “rehabilitation programme,” which she strongly denied needing.
“Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind,” she wrote. “My big brother and big sister have been arrested, and my baby sister might be arrested soon unless I return, and according to him, return to rehab. I never thought I’d say this publicly, but my family is being targeted.”
Regina also lashed out at her husband’s alleged claims that she was struggling with substance abuse, dismissing them as lies meant to tarnish her image.
“You said I’m a drug addict? Me? I only use it to rub my body, sir! What else will you call me, a prostitute? But I’ll speak my truth one day and expose everything,” she wrote, expressing frustration over what she described as emotional manipulation.
The actress, who shares two children with Senator Nwoko, said she had kept silent out of respect for her family but could no longer endure the situation.
“Leave my family alone, Ned! And leave me alone too! It’s obvious this is war,” she declared.
As of the time of filing this report, Senator Ned Nwoko had not publicly responded to the allegations.
The development has since ignited intense reactions on social media, with fans and commentators expressing concern over the actress’s emotional state and the reported family tensions.
