What was once a picture-perfect marriage between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and billionaire politician Senator Ned Nwoko has now turned into a public spectacle of accusations, emotional outbursts and bitter counterclaims, which drawing massive attention across social media.

In a recent statement, Senator Nwoko alleged that he had given ₦125 million to Regina’s mother over the last two years, countering claims that he had abandoned his wife’s family. He accused Regina of engaging in drug and alcohol abuse, which he said led to violent outbursts and damage to property. According to him, she allegedly assaulted three domestic staff members within 48 hours before moving out of their home to a place where she could have “unrestricted access to drugs.”
The Delta North senator said he had offered to help his wife through rehabilitation, both in Abuja and abroad, insisting that he had never been violent. “I have other wives and none has ever accused me of abuse. Regina is the one being violent,” he maintained.
However, Regina Daniels has fired back in an emotional video that has since gone viral. The actress admitted that her family was “in turmoil” but firmly denied her husband’s allegations. She declared that she married Nwoko “for love, not for money,” and accused him of using his political influence to have her siblings arrested as a means to pressure her into returning to rehab.
Regina warned that her youngest sister might also be targeted and vowed to protect her mother and children from any further harassment. “Please, stop insulting my family. We are only trying to survive this difficult period,” she pleaded tearfully.
