Nollywood actress Uche Montana has publicly denied claims linking her to the alleged drug crisis involving her colleague Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Montana issued the clarification on her Instagram page on Monday, following Nwoko’s recent Facebook post that accused some of Regina’s close friends and relatives, including actresses Sonia Uche and Uche Montana of sabotaging her supposed rehabilitation process.

In his post, Senator Nwoko alleged that the group had defied medical advice by maintaining unrestricted contact with Regina and even supplying her with the same substances she was being treated for.

Addressing the claims, Uche Montana wrote: “My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims. For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”

Her response comes amid deepening tension surrounding the Nwokos’ marriage, a saga that has dominated social media discussions in recent weeks.

Just two weeks earlier, Regina Daniels released a viral video alleging that she was a victim of domestic abuse, describing herself as a “slave” in her husband’s home.

Senator Nwoko swiftly countered the claims, insisting that his wife was battling drug and alcohol addiction and accusing her of physically assaulting household staff.

In turn, Regina accused her husband of hypocrisy, alleging that he was the one who introduced her to the substances he now condemns. She also claimed that he had confined her indoors, seized her phones, and forced himself on her when she tried to resist.

As the public feud continues to unfold, both sides have maintained their positions, with industry colleagues urging privacy and restraint while the couple’s marital crisis plays out in the media.
