Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked deep concern among fans after releasing an emotional video where she broke down in tears, expressing frustration over her ongoing family and personal struggles.
In the video, shared via her Instagram Story early Friday morning, Daniels revealed that she was mentally and emotionally drained.
She said, “I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody.”
The actress, who only a day earlier celebrated her parents’ reconciliation, disclosed that their reunion was solely for her happiness.
She wrote, “Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness.”
Daniels explained that her parents, who are now in Abuja, were working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been in detention for several days.
She lamented, “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!”
In another video shared by Daniels, actress Mercy Johnson was seen searching for Sammy, saying, “He’s not here,” before vowing to continue the search.
Amid tears, Daniels hinted at returning to her husband and confessed she had reached her breaking point.
She said, “But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back.”
The emotional video comes weeks after Daniels hinted at experiencing domestic violence in her marriage to businessman and politician Ned Nwoko.
On October 18, a viral video showed her weeping as she said, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Nwoko, however, denied the allegations, claiming his wife’s behaviour stemmed from “drug and alcohol abuse,” and insisting that she needed rehabilitation.
On Wednesday, Daniels released another clip pleading with Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.”
She also spoke about her two sons, Munir and Khalifa, vowing to raise them regardless of her marital situation.
“I’m going to fight for my children. I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your support,” she declared, revealing that her family never approved of her marriage.
The actress’s latest emotional breakdown has triggered widespread concern on social media, with fans urging her to seek help and prioritize her well-being.
