PUNCH Online earlier reported that the accident occurred shortly after 11am near Danco Filling Station in Makun, before the Sagamu Interchange on the Ibadan-bound lane of the expressway.
An eyewitness, Adeniyi Orojo, disclosed that a Lexus SUV conveying Joshua rammed into a stationary truck. He said Joshua sustained minor injuries, while two occupants of the vehicle died on the spot.
Orojo explained that the convoy comprised a Lexus SUV and a Pajero SUV, adding that officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps later arrived at the scene to carry out rescue operations.
