The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the squad numbers for Nigeria’s Super Eagles ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Star striker Victor Osimhen will continue to lead the attack in his familiar No. 9 jersey, while newly appointed captain Wilfred Ndidi retains his trusted No. 4 shirt.

Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has been handed the prestigious No. 10 jersey, as several key players stick with their usual numbers. Ademola Lookman will wear No. 7, Samuel Chukwueze keeps No. 11 and Frank Onyeka remains in No. 8.

Among the new faces in the squad, Salim Fago, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Ryan Alebiosu, and Tochukwu Nnadi have been assigned squad numbers 25, 26, 27, and 28 respectively.

The Super Eagles head to Morocco with their sights firmly set on a fourth AFCON title. Eric Chelle’s men will kick off their campaign against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars in Fès next Tuesday.
