Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated Hon. Justice Joseph Olubunmi Kayode Oyewole following his recommendation for appointment to the Supreme Court bench by the National Judicial Council (NJC).
In a congratulatory message signed by the Governor’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed on Thursday, Adeleke described the elevation of the Osun-born jurist as a clear affirmation of his competence, integrity and long-standing commitment to justice, noting that his appointment would further strengthen the capacity of the apex court to effectively dispense justice to Nigerians.
The governor praised Justice Oyewole as an embodiment of integrity, whose judicial career spanning over two decades has been marked by diligence, fairness and impartiality.
“I heartily congratulate Hon. Justice Joseph Olubunmi Kayode Oyewole on his appointment to the bench of the Supreme Court. His commitment to justice is unparalleled, and his elevation to Nigeria’s highest court is a proud moment for Osun State,” Adeleke said.
According to the governor, Justice Oyewole’s antecedents on the bench give strong assurance that he will excel in his new role and continue to uphold the highest standards of the judiciary.
Governor Adeleke also prayed for divine guidance for the jurist, urging him to remain steadfast in the principles of integrity, fairness and justice for which he is widely respected.
