The National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has dissolved the Hon. Sunday Bisi-led State Working Committee of the party in Osun state.

The Party also dissolved the SWC in Delta, Imo, Rivers and Enugu states.
Shan said, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our Great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), acting on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and pursuant to Section 29(2)(b) of our Constitution (2025 as amended), has approved the appointment of the following party leaders to the Caretaker Committees for Delta, Enugu, Imo, Rivers, and Osun States.

The Committees are charged with the responsibility of managing the affairs of the Party in their respective States, as stipulated in Section 21(2)(a-b) of the PDP Constitution. The tenure of these committees shall not exceed 90 days, or until such a time as a new Executive Committee is elected.
Governor Ademola Adeleke has defected from the PDP to Accord Party.
