The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has unveiled his much-anticipated prophecies for 2026, projecting economic relief for Nigeria and a shift in migration patterns.

Adeboye delivered the prophecies during the church’s annual crossover service held at Redemption City on New Year’s Eve, offering messages of hope for Nigerians and cautious optimism for the global community.

Speaking on the national outlook, the cleric disclosed the first phase of a two-part prophecy, noting that further prayers would determine whether the second part would be released later in the week.

According to him, hunger will reduce in 2026, while small and medium-scale enterprises are expected to experience renewed growth.

He also predicted what he described as a “reverse japa” trend—popularly called “Japada”—suggesting that many Nigerians who migrated abroad would begin returning home.

“I can only describe it as reverse japa. Many who have travelled abroad will come back home,” Adeboye said.

On the global stage, the RCCG leader forecast fewer tensions, noting that the likelihood of a major war in 2026 would be lower than in the previous year. However, he warned that weather conditions may mirror those of 2025, with the possibility of a few major hurricanes.

Looking ahead, Adeboye described 2026 as a year of greater opportunities and personal breakthroughs, declaring it would surpass 2025 in impact.

“The wind that has been blowing since 2024 will blow more strongly. There will be more opportunities, more breakthroughs, more victories and fewer failures,” he said.

He added that many testimonies in the year would begin with the phrase, “God remembered me at last.”

The service, which ended in the early hours of January 1, has since generated widespread reactions on social media, particularly around the “reverse japa” prophecy, as Nigerians debate its implications and the need for supportive government policies to turn the prophecies into reality.
