Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has showered praise on his deputy, Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele, as she marks her 60th birthday, describing her as a loyal, dependable partner in governance.

In a congratulatory message issued on Thursday and signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Lekan Adeniran, the governor commended the deputy governor for her unwavering commitment to the success of the administration and the development of the state.

Abiodun said Salako-Oyedele had consistently demonstrated loyalty, diligence and professionalism in the discharge of her duties, noting that her contributions have helped strengthen stability and effectiveness within the government.

Reflecting on her career, the governor highlighted her background as an engineer, administrator and public servant, describing her journey as one defined by service, discipline and excellence.

“Engr. Salako-Oyedele has continued to be a source of inspiration to women, young professionals and the people of Ogun State,” Abiodun said.

“Her wise counsel, diligence and unwavering commitment to excellence have greatly enhanced the stability and effectiveness of this administration. With your support, loyalty and collaborative spirit, we have been able to deliver on our mandate and positively impact the lives of our people.”

The governor also prayed for good health and many more fruitful years for his deputy.

The Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, joined others in celebrating Salako-Oyedele, describing her as a trailblazer whose public service career exemplifies integrity and hard work.

According to the minister, the deputy governor has shown outstanding leadership by balancing professional excellence with compassion and people-centred governance

“On behalf of Nigerian women, children, families and other vulnerable groups we serve, we salute your immense contributions to governance and your unwavering commitment to the upliftment of women and children,” she said.

Also paying tribute, the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Monisade Afuye, described Salako-Oyedele as a dependable ally whose loyalty has continued to strengthen governance in Ogun State.

Similarly, the Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Adijat Adeleye, praised the celebrant, noting that her passion for the welfare of the people is evident in her daily work and leadership style.

Other goodwill messages came from the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Morgan Bank, Ade Buraimo, who said the 60th birthday milestone marks a legacy of service, dedication and lasting public impact.
