Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has received her third certificate plaque from Guinness World Records after being officially confirmed as a three-time record holder in January.

The chef shared the news in a video posted on her Instagram page on Friday, expressing gratitude for the milestone.

“Third time. Not because I planned it. Not because I felt ready. But because God allowed it,” she wrote.

According to her, unboxing the plaque brought back memories of the emotions that accompanied the achievement — the anxiety, faith, sacrifices, prayers and belief that the feat was part of a bigger purpose.

“I don’t take this lightly. I don’t get used to it. I’m just deeply grateful. Thank you to everyone who has stood by me from the very first ‘let’s try’ to this third ‘officially amazing,’” she added.

In January, Guinness World Records confirmed Baci as a three-time record holder following her partnership with Gino Nigeria, which led to the preparation of the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice in 2025. The dish was also recognised as the largest serving of rice ever recorded.

The latest milestone adds to her earlier achievement in 2023 when she set the record for the longest cooking marathon.
