President Bola Tinubu on Monday landed at the Yola International Airport in Adamawa State for the commissioning of key projects completed by the administration of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

Among the projects scheduled for inauguration are model schools constructed across the 21 local government areas of the state. The schools, delivered under the Fintiri administration, consist of pre-primary, primary and junior secondary sections, equipped with sports facilities and modern learning infrastructure.

Also slated for commissioning is an eight-lane underpass bridge located on Galadima Aminu Road, linking the Gimba axis to the state capital.

Additional projects to be inaugurated include a new multipurpose hall, a remodelled High Court complex, a newly constructed officers’ quarters, and a new Government House office complex.

Following the inauguration ceremony, the President is expected to hold meetings with top government officials and traditional rulers in the state.

Ahead of his arrival, students, residents and other stakeholders gathered along major roads to welcome him.

The visit, which comes less than 48 hours after the President’s trip to Kebbi State, was announced on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement titled “President Tinubu to visit Yola, interact with leaders, inaugurate completed projects.”
