Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has arrived at the Federal High Court in Kaduna for his arraignment over alleged financial crimes.
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) had earlier confirmed that the ex-governor would be brought before the court on Tuesday.
According to the charge, filed under suit number FHC/KD/73/2026, El-Rufai is facing multiple allegations, including money laundering, abuse of office, and fraud.
The case also involves accusations of unlawful possession and conversion of public funds, as well as conferring undue advantage.
His appearance in court marks the beginning of legal proceedings in a case that is expected to draw significant public attention.
