The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has ruled in favour of Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II in the crucial legal battle over the Emirship stool with Aminu Ado Bayero
The people of Kano who are the supporters of Emir Sanusi, including the youths and individuals have been seen jubilating over the Court judgement in the ancient City with drums and festivities
In the court judgement delivered on Friday by the Appeal Court in Abuja has put an end to the legal battle that has continued to threatened the stability of the Kano Emirate.
Insight Media recalled that the crisis began when Governor Abba Yusuf in May 2024 dethroned Aminu Ado Bayero and also order the dissolved of all Emirates which paved way for the reinstatement of Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.
Upon the arrival of Sanusi to the ancient City of Kano, Ado Bayero was forced to leave the town to Nassarawa mini Palace where he currently carries out his courts
