Senator Ned Nwoko, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Reparation and Repatriation, is set to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and his media aide says the move will bring a fresh wave of energy and a development-focused approach to both the party and the nation.

In a statement released yesterday, Nwoko’s Director of Communications, Hon. Gloria Okolugbo, described the Senator as a driving force for economic growth within President Bola Tinubu’s team and highlighted his significant role in strengthening the APC in Delta North.

The statement read “Senator Prince Ned Nwoko’s transition to the APC brings a revitalizing energy and a development-oriented vision to both the party and the country. His extensive experience and dedication to effective governance position him as a key asset in President Tinubu’s mission for a stronger Nigerian economy.”

It continued “For Nigeria, Senator Nwoko’s advocacy for forward-thinking solutions such as renewable energy, waste recycling, and public-private partnerships is in line with the administration’s goals for economic diversification. His ability to attract global partnerships and investments can spur growth in essential sectors like infrastructure, agriculture, and education.”

“By fostering collaboration between federal initiatives and local communities, he ensures that policies translate into tangible benefits, advancing the President’s economic agenda and improving grassroots development.”

The statement also noted that Senator Nwoko’s leadership will bolster the APC in Delta North, enhancing the party’s presence and credibility in the region while promoting inclusive growth.

“Senator Nwoko’s dynamic contributions at both national and local levels make him a powerful force for shaping a prosperous Nigeria and strengthening the Delta North APC,” it concluded.
