The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has responded to critics calling for his removal from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), asserting that no one has the authority to expel him from the party.
Speaking during a media parley on Monday in Abuja, Wike maintained that his contributions to the PDP are significant and unmatched by those questioning his membership.
“I remain a member of the PDP. I have worked hard for this party,” he said. “I’ve not seen anyone bold enough to tell me, ‘Wike, you are no longer part of this party.’ Who would that be? What have they contributed to the PDP that surpasses what I’ve done?”
