Amid intensive conflict between Iran and Israel, Israeli Prime Minister (PM), Benjamin Netanyahu has advised residents of Iran’s capital, Tehran, to evacuate the city immediately.

Speaking during a visit to an Israeli airbase on Monday, Netanyahu said that Israel is moving forward with its mission to neutralize threats from Iran.

He stated that the country is working toward two main goals: eliminating Iran’s nuclear capabilities and dismantling its missile systems.

“We are on the way to achieving our two goals: the elimination of the nuclear threat and the elimination of the missile threat,” he said.

He stated that if Israeli forces gain control of Tehran’s airspace, they will strike critical targets linked to Iran’s regime.

“If we control the airspace over Tehran, we will hit these targets – targets of the regime,” Netanyahu added.

The prime minister directly addressed Tehran’s population, warning:

“We say to the citizens of Tehran: ‘Get out of the area!’ – and we will take action.”

The Israeli army also issued an “urgent warning” to residents of a large district in Tehran, urging them to flee.

The area, which covers roughly 30 square kilometers, is home to about 300,000 people and includes embassies, luxury homes, and major shopping centers.

Reports from inside Tehran indicate growing panic, as explosions were heard in the western part of the city.

Media sources also confirmed airstrikes in the east.
