Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde is scheduled to deliver a comprehensive State of the State address tomorrow, Friday, June 20, 2025, as part of activities marking the second anniversary of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly.

 

 

 

The event, which will be held at the hallowed chamber of the Assembly Complex, Agodi, Ibadan, is expected to attract members of the executive, legislature, judiciary, traditional rulers, political leaders, civil society groups, and other key stakeholders in the state.

 

 

 

 

According to information from the House obtained by westernmirror on Thursday June 19, the Governor’s address will highlight the achievements, challenges, and direction of the state government across key sectors in the past year.

 

 

 

 

The address will also set the tone for ongoing and upcoming policy priorities as the Makinde administration enters the final second half of its second term.

 

 

 

Governor Makinde’s address is expected to touch on major issues such as infrastructural development, education, health care, security, youth empowerment, rural development, and the state’s economic outlook.
