The Board of Directors of Osun State Polytechnic Micro Finance Bank, Iree has ratified the appointment of Alhaji Dauda Adebisi-Balogun as the New Managing Director of the Bank.
Adebisi-Balogun replaces Sir Femi Fapohunda, the pioneer Managing Director of the Bank who is retiring after reaching the maximum age in service.
Adebisi-Baolgun, until his appointment was the General Manager, OSPOLY Ventures, a stable of the Polytechnic, where his stellar performance and tracked record spurred him to vie for the position of MD and was eventually appointed after a competitive interview.
For the records: Adebisi-Balogun hails from Ilobu, in Irepodun Local Government area of Osun State.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos and Master’s in Business Administration, from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomosho.
He is a member of the Chattered Institute of Public management. He is well trained in the art of Business, Banking, Finance and public management.
He is a former staffer of the AfriBank plc and Trans international Bank plc.
He is presently, the National President, Ilobu-Asake Development Union.
His letter of appointment signed by the Director of Administration of OSPOLY Microfinance Bank, who is also the Registrar of the Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Barr B.M Salawu states that his appointment commences on the 2nd of May, 2019.
Meanwhile, the Ilobu-Asake Development Union has congratulated Alh Adebisi-Balogun on his latest achieved rank.
The union in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kazeem Alabi described the elevation of its national president as a deserved one and a blessing for the bank.
The union thereby wished him success as he pilots the affairs of the financial institution.
