The management of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has suspended the ongoing Students Union Government elections indefinitely after it was marred by violence.
Hoodlums have hijacked the process which started on a free note.
In an internal memorandum signed by Olayide Lawal on behalf of the Registrar, the management cited disruption as reason for halting the process.
The memorandum reads, “Following the disruption of the ongoing Students Union Government election.
“Management has directed that the election should be suspended with immediate effect.”
