The Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) has congratulated its Patron, His Royal Majesty Oba Hammed Oyelude Makama (CON), the Olowu of Kuta, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary celebrated today, July 14, 2025.
In a goodwill message issued in Osogbo and signed by its Chairman, Mukhtar Ajelogbon, the association praised the monarch for his enduring contributions to cultural preservation, national unity, and grassroots development.
Describing the Olowu of Kuta as “a beacon of honor, integrity, and traditional values,” Ajelogbon commended the monarch’s leadership style, which he said is rooted in wisdom, courage, and a sincere concern for the well-being of his people.
“Oba Makama has consistently shown himself to be a royal father for all,” the statement read. “His approachability, humility, and commitment to community growth and national progress have set him apart. He embodies the modern traditional ruler grounded in culture yet responsive to contemporary challenges.”
The association also acknowledged Oba Makama’s steadfast support for Nigeria’s Armed Forces and his active role in national discussions on peace and security, which have earned him recognition well beyond Osun State.
As a Patron of OOPA, the monarch was lauded for his moral guidance and unwavering support for the association’s work in promoting responsible journalism and digital media development across the state.
The publishers concluded their message with prayers for the monarch’s continued good health, long life, and impactful reign.
“Happy Birthday, Kabiyesi. May your reign continue to bring peace, progress, and pride to the people of Kuta and Osun State at large,” the statement concluded.
