Renowned fashion designer Seyi Adekunle, popularly known as Seyi Vodi, celebrated his 50th birthday in grand style with an all-white praise party that brought together friends, family, and celebrities.
Held at the newly renovated Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, the event was a vibrant expression of gratitude and celebration. Guests arrived dressed in all-white ensembles, in line with the evening’s dress code, creating a stunning visual display.
The venue glowed with white-themed décor—rows of white chairs, soft LED pin lights, and golden accents. A large, gold-framed portrait of Seyi Vodi adorned the stage, while dramatic effects like indoor sparklers and fog lit up key moments throughout the night.
From the red carpet to the main event, the evening was filled with heartfelt worship, lively dancing, and soul-lifting music.
Gospel sensations Tope Alabi and Adeyinka Alaseyori led powerful praise sessions, setting a deeply spiritual tone.
What began as a milestone birthday soon transformed into a moving praise and worship experience. At one emotional point, Vodi fell to his knees, overcome with gratitude, tears streaming down his face and hands lifted in worship.
During the birthday song, surrounded by loved ones, he again prostrated in thanksgiving as fireworks lit the air and voices echoed, “Happy birthday to you.”
The guest list included notable figures such as former Liberian President George Weah, and Nigerian entertainment icons Jide Kosoko, Sola Sobowale, Kate Henshaw, and Dayo Amusa, among others.
To crown his golden jubilee, Seyi Vodi gifted himself a 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series 2, reportedly worth $700,000 (approximately ₦1.09 billion).
