Nigerian street-pop star Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has declined a N100 million offer to engage in a physical fight with controversial social media figure Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan (VDM). The singer insists he’ll only accept the challenge for a N1 billion payout.

Tensions between the two escalated after Portable criticized VDM for his outspoken attacks on President Bola Tinubu’s administration. The feud has since unfolded across social media, with both men trading insults and releasing diss tracks.

In a viral video, Portable dismissed the N100 million offer as insignificant, claiming he regularly earns that amount from his fans.

“N100 million? My fans give me that. It’s too small to fight VDM. Let them bring N1 billion, I’ll fight him and beat him,” he said.

He also took aim at those pushing for the clash, accusing them of fearing VDM themselves “If anyone can drop N1 billion, I’ll fight him. You’re scared of someone you can’t even hold or jail, and now you want me to fight him?”
