Member representing Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Bukola Oyewo has congratulated the immediate past Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Najeem Folasayo Salam on his installation as the Oluomo of Ejigbo land.
Oyewo, in a statement released on Saturday and obtained by Insight Media stated that the installation of the erstwhile Speaker is insertion of round peg in a round hole.
The lawmaker also commended The Oluomo of Ejigbo land for his service to the State of Osun in his twelve years in the House of Assembly.
The statement reads, “On behalf of the good people of Osogbo Federal Constituency, I congratulate the immediate past Speaker, State of Osun House of Assembly over his installation as the Oluomo of Ejigbo land.
“History will forever be kind with Hon Salaam having diligently served the State in the number position for good right years. Through his unbeatable leadership skills, impeccable character and commitment towards the progressives politics, he was able to steer legislation to an enviable heights in the State.
“The people of Osogbo Federal constituency are convinced that his installation as the Oluomo is putting the round peg in a round hole as it will not only bring fortunes to the ancient town of Ejigbo land but also spur younger generation to be good ambassadors and be diligent in whatever they are doing.” he added.
Oyewo also congratulated the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, Oba Omowonuola and the people of the community over the successful installation ceremony.
