The Ondo state police command on Monday said it has arrested some suspects allegedly involved in the murder of Mrs Funke Olakunrin, daughter of the Afenifere leader, Reuben Fasoranti.
Mrs Olakunrin was killed after gunmen attacked her vehicle in Ore, Ondo State last Friday.
The police public relations officer for the command, Femi Joseph, confirmed this on Monday, Channels reports.
According to him, the suspects were arrested when a team of security operatives stormed the forests in the area near Ore in Ondo State.
He said investigations were still ongoing, while suspects would be paraded as soon as possible.
