The Sokoto State Police Command said the exercise will run from March 9 to April 18, 2026, at the Command Headquarters located on Gwandu Road in Sokoto, beginning from 7:00 a.m. daily.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Rufa’i.

According to the statement, applicants who successfully completed the online registration are required to log in to the official recruitment portal to confirm their screening status and print the necessary documents ahead of the exercise.

“Candidates are required to report strictly on the date indicated on their invitation slip and must come with all required documents neatly arranged in two white flat files,” the statement said.

The Command listed the required documents to include the application submission slip, physical screening form, invitation slip, credential screening form, National Identity Number printout, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or age declaration, and certificate of local government or state of origin.

“Other required documents include a completed guarantors’ form with passport photographs and trade test results for specialist applicants,” the statement added.

Applicants were also directed to appear at the screening venue dressed in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts and white stockings.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmed Musa, warned that the recruitment exercise is completely free and urged members of the public to report anyone demanding money in connection with the process.

He further called on applicants to cooperate with officials and ensure proper preparation to facilitate a smooth and effective screening exercise.
