Popular Nollywood actor and producer Segun Ogungbe has rekindled his relationship with actress Omowunmi Ajiboye, nearly three years after their widely publicised breakup.
The couple, whose separation sparked controversy in 2023, appeared to have put their differences aside as they were recently spotted sharing a warm moment at the premiere of Ogungbe’s new movie Irete on Sunday.
Their reunion comes after a turbulent past that drew public attention. Back in 2023, Ajiboye faced backlash after she publicly acknowledged MC Oluomo while seemingly ignoring Ogungbe during her mother’s burial ceremony.
The incident further fuelled rumours of a rift between the pair, alongside allegations of a relationship with MC Oluomo claims she strongly denied.
At the time, Ajiboye also clarified the nature of her relationship with Ogungbe, stating that although they share two children, they were never formally married.
“We were never married. He doesn’t know my people. We only have kids together,” she said while addressing critics.
Despite the past drama, their recent public appearance suggests that the two may have moved on from old differences, sparking reactions among fans and followers.
