Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa has dismissed reports suggesting that Kylian Mbappé is battling a knee injury, describing the claims as “completely false.”
Speculation had emerged in recent days that the French forward was dealing with a knee problem that could impact his performances. However, Arbeloa insisted there is no truth to the reports and urged fans and observers to focus on the player’s output on the pitch.
Speaking on the issue, the Madrid coach emphasised that the rumours do not reflect reality, adding that Mbappé remains fully fit and committed to delivering for the team.
He also advised that attention should shift away from unverified claims, stressing the importance of both mental and physical focus for players competing at the highest level.
Mbappé continues to play a key role for Real Madrid and the French national team as they push for success in domestic and international competitions.
Providing an update on teammate Jude Bellingham, Arbeloa noted that the midfielder’s recent limited playing time was precautionary. He explained that Bellingham featured briefly against Atlético Madrid due to a tactical decision aimed at avoiding unnecessary risks.
According to the coach, Bellingham has trained well and remains ready to contribute when called upon.
