The National Executive Council of Nigerians for Buhari Again, NfBA has congratulated two of their own, Mr Festus Keyamo, SAN and Dr Muhammad Mahmood over their appointment into the federal executive council by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group said their appointment as Ministers is not only a reward for their staunch belief in the President but also an avenue to prove their worth at national stage.
Keyamo was on Wednesday announced as the Minister of State for Niger Delta while Mahmoud assigned to oversee Ministry of Environment in the Next Level Cabinet.
Speaking with the newsmen shortly after the NEC meeting in Abuja, the National Coordinator of NfBA, Dr Olayinka Ayinde commended the President for bringing on board two ‘cerebral people’ in Keyamo and Mahmoud.
“President Muhammadu Buhari has done a very good job by bringing Festus Keyamo, SAN and Dr Muhammad Mahmoud as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We at NfBA are really proud of their profiles and work done before the 2019 general election.
” As we wish the duo, who have been brought to the national stage to show their dexterity and bring their knowledge and experience to bear, we want to urge Nigerians to remain calm and continue putting their trusts in President Buhari, ” he said.
Dr Mahmoud was the National Coordinator of Buhari Support Organization, while Keyamo was the Director of strategic communications for the Presidential Campaign Team headed by Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi , prior to 2019 polls.
In a separate interview in Abuja, the National Coordinator of NfBA, Dr Olayinka Ayinde also congratulated Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola over his appointment.
Ayinde described the former Governor of Osun State as a man of many parts, whose sagacity will bring end to internal security facing the country.
” If one thing I know Ogbeni for is that he takes service above self, we can see proofs of this all over where he had served, he concluded.
