The Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has praised the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, describing him as her “partner in crime” and one of Nigeria’s best-performing public servants.

Musawa expressed her admiration for Keyamo in a post on her X account on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, where she used several affectionate expressions to describe their relationship and commended his service to the country.

The arts minister referred to Keyamo as her “ride or die”, “5 and 6”, “seat mate”, “true and tried”, “day one”, “real one”, “friend”, “bestie” and “brother”.

Expressing her pride in the aviation minister, Musawa wrote, “I am so proud of you my dear brother @fkeyamo.

“You are, without doubt, one of the best performing public servants #Nigeria has produced.

“Thank you for your service my brother!”

The post highlighted Musawa’s personal regard for Keyamo and her appreciation of his performance in public office.

Both ministers serve in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, with Musawa overseeing arts, culture, tourism and the creative economy, while Keyamo heads the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development.

Although the two ministers have frequently appeared together at public functions, their latest exchange of praise has drawn attention to their close relationship.

Recently, they were announced as keynote speakers at the ninth National Tourism Transportation Summit and Expo. The announcement was made in Abuja by the National President of the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria and chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Organising Committee, Chief Abiodun Odusanwo.

Keyamo’s participation followed his appointment by the African Development Bank as Africa’s champion for the Integrated Aviation Transformation Programme for Africa, while Musawa was expected to address strategies for expanding domestic and international tourism through stronger transportation networks.

The two ministers also attended the maiden edition of the Seyi Tinubu Colloquium on Monday, held to mark the 41st birthday of Seyi Tinubu.
