Mr Oluwatobi Olabode, the Chairman and Managing Director of Divine Ventures International on Tuesday congratulated the Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola and the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola over the beginning of the third decade of 21st century.
Olabode, in a chat with InsightMedia in Osogbo, appreciated the giant strides of the governor in the areas of infrastructure, education and health sector, urging him to look at the human capital development.
He stated that the governor has shown leadership in the last thirteen months that he held sway in the state, adding that being in charge of the state at the beginning of this new decade is supernaturally divine.
“I wish to commend the governor for what he has achieved so far. It shows that his emergence to lead this state at the beginning of this decade,” he said.
“The performance of Mr Governor in the areas of Infrastructure, health, education and workers welfare are really commendable and has shown that the state will benefit immensely in his administration. As promised by the Deputy Governor recently in his speech, I want to beseech Mr Governor to look into training of youths and adults in various skills as source of empowerment.
“This I believe will go a long way not only in complimenting his achievements, but also secure better future for our state. It will also help in increasing the internally generated revenue for the state.”
While also commending Minister Aregbesola, Olabode enjoin the him to look at the complaints of some officers of Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps who have been promoted but are allegedly receiving salaries short of their ranks.
