A prolific presenter and Ex – officio of Osun State Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Jolayemi Rotimi popularly known as Oba Akewi has described The Elekan of Ekan, Oba Micheal Ashaolu Adeyemi as an epitome of consistency to human development.
Oba Akewi stated this in his congratulatory message to Oba Micheal Adeyemi on his 70th birthday. He also prayed for his long life and achieving his heart desires.
The radio and television presenter said, ” riches and gold that I could afford as gift for His Majesty’s birthday can not be commensurate to the appreciation and indebtedness of the roles he has played in my life.
“Oba Adeyemi is quintessentially dutiful to the cause of my town Ekan and all his people and that is why all and sundry continue to mill round him as an enduring pivot.”
Oba Akewi recalled the tremendous support Elekan offered him during his trivail in Abuja both in kind and financial terms and thus expressed his joy that Kabiyesi now adds another graceful year.
“I celebrate with most loyal king. The symbol of pure royalty, born a blue blood from primary gate of a royal house in Ekan ,the Paramount ruler of Ekan Meje kingdom. Your reign is virile, productive and resourceful as king of merit. Within your little stay, you have defined royalty as a position to serve humanity.
” Your birthday today is just a reminder to do more, act more and achieve more to the benefit of your subjects. As an upright Monarch, I’ve no regret having you as a king and as a father.
“Continuing toeing the path of honour ,God will continue to honour you, May the crown glue to your head for long” Oba Akewi prays. .
