The Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists has lost another as its former Vice Chairman, Mr Patrick Dotun Fasekun, popularly known as (Fash) is dead.
The cause of Fasekomi’s death could not be ascertained as at the time of this report.
His death came barely a month that the union lost an Ex-officio, Mrs Nike Alonge.
The Secretary of the Union, Mr Bukola Elufadejin confirmed his death on Saturday.
The message he posted on the Union’s group reads: “This is to announce the death of Mr Patrick Dotun Fasekomi popularly known as Fash of Federal information chapel and the former vice chairman of NUJ.”
Meanwhile, Journalists in the state have been mourning the demise of their colleague through posts on Facebook pages.
