The Yoruba Youth Council, Osun State Chapter has appealed to Osun State Government to renegotiate with the striking workers of the state.

The Chairman of the Council in the state, Comrade Wahab Kazeem Olanrewaju made this call in Ikirun, his hometown on Friday while speaking with InsightMedia Correspondence.

Olanrewaju also call on the civil servants to reconsider their stands as he believes the era of famine will soon be over.

He said “We at Yoruba Youths Council wishes to express our dissatisfactions over the total closure of Government parastatals, offices and ministries in Osun due to the ongoing industrial actions embarked upon by the civil servants in the state.

“We use this medium to plead with both parties to be considerate and go into a fruitful dialogue that will be of mutual benefits with the workers. We urge our amiable governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to find a lasting solution to the cause root of the strike action to avoid future occurrences.”

Olanrewaju also called on Labour Leaders in the state to consider the future of the State to reconsider their stand in the interest of the citizens and residents of the state and the entire Yoruba nation at large.
