The lawmaker representing Akure South/Akure North federal constituency, in the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedayo Omolafe is dead.
It was gathered that Omolafe, fondly called Expensive died in the early hours of Monday at a hospital in Akure. He was a member of the People’s Democratic Party.
One of his close aides who did not want his name mentioned, confirmed the death to newsmen.
“Expensive was not sick, we were still together yesterday (Sunday) morning, this is so sad, a terrible blow dealt Akure”, a close ally of the deceased lawmaker said.
Omolafe was a former Chairman of Akure South Local Government Area of the State during the Olusegun Agagu’s administration.
