The lawmaker representing Ede Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Bamidele Salam has commended leaders of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun for finding amicable resolution to the crisis bedeviling the State chapter of the Party.

 

Salam, in a statement obtained by InsightMedia on Friday, lauded Former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Former PDP governorship candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, Board of Trustees member, Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun, Senator Olu Alabi, Erelu Olusola Obada, among others.

The lawmaker described the resolution as heart-warming, stating that it will put the party on a strong footing towards the next year’s governorship elections.

The statement partly read, “It is heart-warming for me to hear the good news that great leaders of our party converged in brotherly love to bring a lasting resolution to the lingering crisis that has bedeviled our party for quite some time and which has cost our party a number of electoral victories.

“I especially commend former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former deputy governor Erelu Olusola Obada, Baba Shuaib Oyedokun, Professor Wale Oladipo, Other BOT members and leaders of our party in the state for this exemplary feat and their magnanimity in digging deep dip into their wells of wisdom to bury the crisis permanently.

“Worthy of commendation also is the nomination of the my brother, the former Chairman of our party in the state, Hon Olasoji Adagunodo for the vacant office of the South West Zonal Chairman of our party. Such peaceful masterstroke is no doubt a timely signal to our teeming supporters that our party is ready to rescue the state from Apc misrule.

“I also congratulate the State Chairman of our party, Hon Sunday Bisi, for his focus and peaceful disposition to the cause of the party at all times. Such trait no doubt, has set us on the right path to success.

“It is my belief that this new found love among our leaders will put us on the ascendancy towards the coming polls, most especially, the governorship election slated for July next year.”
