For Nigerians who are desirous of travelling by air this season, they may have one aircraft less to fly in. This is because, an aircraft in the fleet of Nigeria’s dominant airline, Air Peace, was rammed into on Saturday by an aircraft belonging to Max Air while taxiing at the Benin Airport runway.
The incident, according to Air Peace, occurred while passengers were being boarded from the Benin Airport to Abuja.
The accident occurred at 2pm. But Air Peace said there was no casualty.
