The crisis in the People’s Democratic Party seems to have found its back some weeks to the party primaries as another’s Acting Chairman has emerged.

East Senatorial leader, Barr. Williams Ojo was pronounced the acting Chairman of the party after a meeting held at the King’s Square Party secretariat in Osogbo on Friday.

Insider at the meeting told InsightMedia that the caucus of the former State Chairman and now Southwest Vice Chairman, Hon Soji Adagunodo insisted that Ojo is the most senior officer from the East senatorial district and should be the acting Chairman of the party.

Adagunodo assumed office as the zonal Vice Chairman in Ibadan last week. He was nominated after the emergence of Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja as the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP.

Speaking with our Correspondent, Ojo said the party is working towards and victorious outing and will soon make their moves known to the Public.

A member of Sunday Bisi caucus of the party, Oladele Bamiji described the action as a waste of time. He added that those involved in the act are “enemies of the party”.
