No fewer than five person have been confirmed dead as dreaded armed robbers hijacked a bullion van in Ibadan, Oyo State capital on Thursday.
The incidence happened at Idi-Ape area of Iwo road, in the city.
Reports gathered it was said that the attacked was brutal as several road users and commuters plying the road fled for their lives.
The area was deserted within a short period as several others suffered various degrees of injuries.
Normalcy has returned to the area and ambulance are been awaited to convey the victims to the hospital for treatment
Police are already on ground and pacifying the residence and attending to the victims of the attack.
