A Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan has today stopped the council election slated for May 12 in the state.
The court halt the election after it delivered the ruling on a case instituted by some leaders of All Progressive Congress over the creation of new wards.
The ruling party has been engulfed in crisis in the state and some leaders including, Minister of Communications, Barrister Adebayo Shittu have expressed their dissatisfactions over the nomination of the party flag bearers.
